Faculty Scholarly Activities

The faculty members of the Preventive Medicine/Public Health Residency Program spend many hours attending and presenting lectures and seminars, participating in health fairs, area board meetings or teaching classes at schools, colleges and/or universities. All these actions fall under the umbrella of "Scholarly Activities".

Faculty Scholarly Activity Definitions

 

Community Service: Health fairs; Board meetings; Coalition Meetings, etc.

 

Research: Publications; Advisor for residents or other students; List all publications including those where you are co-author.

 

Attending Lectures: Public Health Seminars; Journal Club; Monday lectures; etc.


Presenting Lectures: Public Health Seminars; Monday Lectures; Presentations to other groups in the community; Presentations to other organizations; Poster presentations at Conferences.


Teaching: Academic Activities related to the residency that do not fall under the lecture heading; class presentation at schools, colleges and/or universities.
